My Pricing

Pricing is an important part of your business and how much you charge is completely up to you. Adding your prices has two major benefits:

  1. Prices help the right customers find your business.
  2. Customers are more likely to contact you if you have prices listed.

We know that how you charge for services varies depending on your business and the service itself. Depending on your service, we allow you to set up a base price or a price range.

Your Base Price is typically an hourly rate or flat rate; something that doesn't really change. In addition to the base price, we provide a spot for extra or additional fees such as a travel fee or cost of materials. For example, a piano teacher may charge $60 per hour, plus a $10 fee to cover the cost of books that the student will need for practicing.

A Price Range is available for some services, where pricing a job is a little more complicated. An example would be flying lessons. A flight school will have a range of prices depending on what type of lesson the student is taking or what type of plane they want to have their lessons in.

Your starting price and a link to your profile are listed in search results so that customers can find your business and learn more before contacting you. Your starting price is just an estimate.

Sometimes you need more details to offer an accurate price. That's fine, but considering adding a starting price to reflect the minimum the customer can expect to pay and use your profile to tell customers that you will be able to give them a more accurate, personalized price after you speak with them.
